Q:
What are the age requirements?
A:Red Palace hosts shows for all ages, 18 years and older, and 21 years and older. The age requirement for each show is listed on our calendar. If you are under the age of 18, you should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. DC curfew laws do apply, so please KNOW THE FACTS. Red Palace STRICTLY enforces a 21 and over drinking policy. You must have valid and legal identification to purchase, consume, or possess alcohol - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Q:
Do you accept expired IDs, college IDs, or gym cards?
A:No, no and no! You MUST have a non-expired, legal, government issued form of identification. That means a drivers license, military ID, state ID, or passport. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Q:
How do I get a refund?
A:In general, all ticket sales are final. However, if a show is cancelled, refunds are available at the point of purchase. You will be refunded automatically if you made a purchase through Ticket Alternative. Please note that opening times and opening acts are subject to change.

Q:
When does so and so play, and what time?
A:Show start times for each day are listed on our Calendar. Generally, sets are about 45 minutes each so the exact time of the performance you are interested in will depend how many bands are playing that evening and if they are the opener, headliner, etc. Sometimes the show runs a little later than scheduled, but we always try our best to be on time. We appreciate your patience if things run a little behind.

Q:
How do I purchase a ticket to a show? Are the tickets for reserved seating?
A:Tickets for Red Palace are sold through Ticket Alternative and are available by clicking the “BUY NOW” link listed next to each show on our Calendar, or buy visiting www.ticketalternative.com and searching for Red Palace or the show you are interested in seeing. If a ticket link is not listed it means that there are no advance tickets available for purchase – tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the show.
You can also purchase tickets over the phone at 1-877-725-8849. All tickets at Red Palace are for standing room only. There is no reserved seating available.

What type of payments do you accept?
A:We accept all major credit cards (MC, Visa, AmEx, Discover) and cold, hard cash! If you are buying tickets at the door on the night of the show, cash is the only method of payment currently accepted. We have an ATM machine on-site, if needed.

Where do I park or is there a Metro station close by?
A:Please visit our Get Here page for more information regarding parking, metro stations, taxis, etc.

Q:
Do you serve food?
A:Yes, for now we have snacks available. BUT, we are building a brand new, full service kitchen and will be serving up gourmet burgers and sandwiches, appetizers, salads, tons of delicious sides and desserts! The kitchen is scheduled to open this summer.

Do you serve alcohol?
A:We have 3 full-service bars – two on the ground floor, and one upstairs where the shows happen.

Q:
Do you allow smoking?
A:DC law strictly prohibits smoking indoors. If you want to smoke, you will have to visit the sidewalk.

Q:
Does Red Palace have seating?
A:Red Palace does have some seating. We have two large bars and multiple tables and booths on the ground level of the club. Upstairs where the entertainment takes place, we encourage rocking and dancing for the shows and do not have seating available.

Where are you located?
A:We are located at 1212 H Street NE in Washington DC 20002 in the very heart of the Atlas District: Map & Directions >

Q:
Do you have a dress code or coat check?
A:No, we do not have a dress code, but use common sense (no shoes and shirt means you probably won’t make it past the front door). And, sorry, we do not have a coat check.

Q:
My bro and I can play some killer licks on our instruments, can we play Red Palace tomorrow??
A:Probably not tomorrow, but maybe in the future. Red Palace does not accept physical press kits, so please email us your Myspace, Facebook, Mp3s, or EPK page where we can hear some music. It’s very nice to know where you have played in DC proper, what you HONESTLY draw, and any other useful selling points about your band. Red Palace books about 3 months in advance. We review every submission, so please allow for some time for us to get back to you. PLEASE, DO NOT CALL THE VENUE REGARDING BOOKING.

3. Please, no cold calling.If you are looking to book The Rock & Roll Hotel, DC9 or Red Palace only one email needs to be sent and the best slot will be found for you.

Is Red Palace available for private events?
A:Absolutely! We would love the opportunity to host your party. Please email Steve Lambert at hoodbooking@gmail.com with the following information:
1. Date and time of event
2. Number of attendees
3. Food and/or drink requirements and any other relevant information
4. Contact information (name, phone number, email address)All inquiries will be responded to promptly. Please note that we have a busy show schedule but we will do our best to accommodate your request.
